An array of watercraft owned by Mike Lally of 75 Sunrise Street in Lanesborough are docked behind his home. A possible algae bloom which prompted health officials to close Pontoosuc Lake on Friday. Lally’s son came for the weekend with some friends to waterski on the lake this past weekend. They had to change their plans and do the same activity on Richmond Pond instead. “They tell us not to use it, we don’t use it,” he said. Officials lifted the advisory Monday afternoon after tests for cyanobacteria bloom where completed.
